Seduced - A Prequel to Beautiful Rose by Missy Johnson With REVIEW

Synopsis

Twenty-five year old Jack Falcon doesn’t do relationships, and why would he when he has woman after woman literally throwing themselves at him? For Jack, life is perfect just the way it is. He works hard and he plays harder.

Jack’s life changes when he meets Belle. Unlike any woman he’s ever met, there is something about this girl that makes him unable to keep away, something beyond the youthful beauty and her innocent spirit. Belle is strong and independent, a big leap from the usual brainless chicks he tends to attract.

Jack begins a dangerous game. He is determined to seduce Belle, and without realizing it, his feelings for her develop beyond anything he has ever felt before. Things become complicated when he learns there are good reasons as to why he should stay the hell away from her.

How can you stay away from someone you want to spend every waking minute with? And what do you do when you know eventually you will destroy that person?

As their feelings for each other deepen, Jack struggles with his own internal demons which threaten to rip them apart. Jack is torn between following his heart and listening to his head, which keeps telling him he is not good enough for her. She deserves better than what he can give her.

How far will he push before they both fall over the edge?

Excerpt

“So I’m about to leave, and the question is, are you going to be leaving with me?” I downed the last of my drink and stood up, as if I didn’t care either way. This was easy to do because I really couldn’t care less whether she came with me or not. She opened her mouth, both shocked and aroused by my forwardness.
“You better shut that pretty little mouth, honey, or I’ll give you something to stick in there,” I grinned. I put out my hand, half expecting her to right hook me in the face. “Coming?” I asked. She took it uncertainly, allowing me to help her up. I suppressed a laugh, not wanting to be rude, but I couldn’t believe that line had actually worked!
“Do I get to know your name?” she asked breathlessly. I smirked at her, not believing for a second she didn’t know who I was. Everyone knew who Jack Falcon was. Pretending not to recognize me was like pretending not to know who the Queen was.
“Does it matter?” I asked, raising my eyebrows.
“I guess not,” she stammered, following me out the door. It always amazed me how easily they followed.

4 Stars

Jack Falcon is Britain's most eligible bachelor. He has money, looks, and a lack of morals. He is known for his womanizing ways, but women still throw themselves at his feet. Jack makes no apologies for his behavior. Until he meets Belle. She seems impervious to his charms and soon Jack finds himself chasing her. They soon find themselves in a intense relationship and when they find out how they are connected, how can it continue?
This story is told from Jack's POV and at first I didn't like Jack very much. He is your typical egotistical a-hole manwhore. He doesn't care about what people think. He does what he wants, when he wants. I really loved that he got a taste of his own medicine with Belle. Belle was the first person to ever walk away and leave the player played. As things are revealed Jack began to chip away at my resolve where he was concerned. The book definitely has some toe curling hot, hot, hot scenes, but also has some emotionally intense ones that left me a blubbering mess by the end. I really ran the gambit of emotions with this one and want to see where this story leads...
