I really enjoyed this book. I really felt the attraction between Liz and Trevor. Trevor's got that whole cave man thing down, not as bad as Asher, but he's got it. The author stepped it up with this one and I couldn't put it down. Liz has had to take care of everyone else in her life, so it's nice to see someone take care of her. For the most part the story flowed well. I think the characters are written well, and while I don’t agree with all the choices, I think I understand most of them.

My one complaint about the story, and what kept it from being 5 stars, was I felt the back story with Liz's brother felt very unresolved. I felt the story was brought in to create drama and bring Liz and Trevor closer together,create tense or dangerous situations, but when it was time to explain what's going on, it was swept under the rug.
Overall though I recommend the book, I couldn't put it down, till the epilogue, then I didn't want to finish it (didn't want it to end.) I do have say I did get a lot more out of the epilogue than I expected.
There is also a sneak peek into the next book, which I'm now anxiously awaiting.

I think if the author continues to improve with each book she writes, she will be a force to be reckoned with.

The one who listened to me when I shared the hurt of my past and the one who helps old ladies carry groceries across the street. The one who stopped in the middle of the road when he saw a bird with a broken wing, and the one who loves his mom so much, that no matter who's around or where they are, he hugs her and tells her he loves her. That guy; that was the Trevor that I was falling in love with. Then he showed me a side of him that was ugly and hurtful, a side that I can't forget no matter how much I want to.
